This deck keys off 4 cards - Steward of Gondor, to provide resources for Aragorn to fund Roheryn (gives tactics icon) and Gondorian Fire for attacking after optional engagement, Nenya goes on Galadriel (giving lore icon). Typically mulligan for Steward and/or nenya, depending on the demands of the quest.

In test runs has beaten, as a solo deck, Journey Down the Anduin, Fords of Isen, Intruders in Chetwood, The Weather Hills and Deadmen's Dike.

I would suggest including Celeborn to give Aragorn also the Spirit Icon to help pay for all the Spirit cards. And while you are at it Ring of Barahir too.

You are right - a slight weakness of the deck is when Galadriel is a resource short for the cards in her hand. The problem for me (not really) with Celebrian's Stone is that, because I only own a single core set, I use it as a proxy for the 3rd Steward hahaha. I also tried a version where I stuck a Song of Travel in there, but then I never drew it, and still won the quests it played. I'm also on the fence about the Swords of Numenor (once Gondorian Fire is up, they are not necessary, but before then, it can be tough to clear enemies).

And yeah, Ring of Barahir would get him to 7 hit points with Sword that was Broken. What to cut, though...

With the Mirror of Galadriel ensuring better card filtering you can forgo some third copies of key cards, like Roheryn and Gondorian Fire (but I would add at least a second harp. Instead of Athelas consider using Dúnedain Remedy for healing. You might also add a Steed of Imladris to better use the Westfold Horse-breeder and furthering the discard theme.

I would go for -1 Jeweler, -1 Athelas, -1 Gondorian Fire, -1 Roheryn, -1 Elrond's Counsel, -1 Nenya +1 Celebrian's Stone, +1 Ring of Barahir, +1 Mirror of Galadriel, +2 Dunedain Remedy, +1 Steed of Imladris

Great suggestions- in the end I added all except the Steed of Imladris (which I love, and still might bump one of the Swords of Numenor for a restricted slot- but it can only go on Aragorn with the Stone - spirit hero and one committed to the quest). I kept the Jeweler and Athelas, but ditched copies of the others. Silver Harp gets the best out of Warden of the Havens, by helping keep attachments on top of the discard. Thanks for the suggestions, it crushed Massing at Osgiliath without losing an ally (other than the one that dies crossing the Anduin).
