A solo deck dedicated to Drinking Song's powerhouse :
-
DS produces up to 3 resources per turn with Love of Tales. just be aware that you have to play one copy of Love of Tales on the Sword-thain hero because you will ditch Folco for The Houses of Healing.
-
you can recur DS with free Scroll of Isildur thanks to Sword-thain that is free with Bartering. When you play DS this way, you draw 1 additional card. You can recur the scrolls with Erebor Hammersmith.
-
You can give DS Doomed 1 with a Steward of Orthanc to draw a card and boost Isengard Messenger.
Actually the deck produces so many resources per turn (4 from heroes, 3 from Resourceful, 3 from Love of Tales, and 2 from Grima + Keys of Orthanc) that it's easy to play The Houses of Healing on Folco to reduce threat.
The first Resourceful can be played in Secrecy in early game. After that, once Sword-thain is in play, you can play Bartering on Scroll of Isildur to make Resourceful free.
The deck just smashed Escape from Umbar so quickly. I find that Mono-Lore is now very powerful with all these resources and that draw!

Jun 08, 2020Thank you |
Jun 08, 2020like your gandalf-setting. 2 core for early game and flexible use, and 1 hobbit for lategame and (i asume) defending. with this much drinking songs the probability is very high to have the rght gandalf, when you want to play him. |
