A thematic-ish journey through the Dwarrowdelf cycle.
The party has reached a damp passage Eastward, but there's a rumbling below foot...
Similarly to the other deck, this deck avoids item, weapon, armour and light attachments where possible - though I did allow A Burning Brand. The under-used Dark Knowledge is a backup strategy.
Ever My Heart Rises is only useful in the first half of this quest, but it is a zero-cost card which could weaken a Nameless Thing if you are lucky. Healing Herbs helps to compensate for the fact that the defenders across both decks are a bit weaker for lack of the usual attachments.
The allies are pretty much all the dwarves I own; Erebor Record Keeper is always great for some action advantage, Erebor Hammersmith can recover that key attachment you lost at stage 3 (for either player!), and Miner of the Iron Hills directly counters Watchful Eyes. Finally, Dwalin offers sentinel defence, something remarkably few dwarf characters possess.
The events are reasonably standard - of note are Untroubled by Darkness to help with that Stage 5 questing push, and A Light in the Dark, which allows you to push back a Nameless Thing which this dck is ill-equipped to deal with, allowing the other deck to deal with it the next turn.
