Polished, refined, and stronger than ever.

Dropped the Kahliel’s Tribesman, whose main goal was to boost Jubayr's defense, in favor of the cheaper Hauberk of Mail. With Narya, Hauberk, and a Wild Stallion, Jubayr is at 6 and 4 hit points.

I've also added Map of Earnil and Dwarven Tomb, so for the extremely long quests where your deck runs out you can recycle Elrond's Counsel, A Test of Will, or Stand and Fight indefinitely.

Mulligan for Narya. See Caldara 2.0 for the rest of the strategy.

Jubayr will get up to 5 hit points, won't he?

@Yepesnopes Yes, you're right.

Imladris Caregiver isnt playable in this version, right? Any good replacements?

It is completely playable. Using Stand and Fight or A Very Good Tale you can put it into play.

would add one will of the west, or reforged, or 1-2 more tombs, just to be save that there will not be accidentially the wrong cards be discarded.

Apr 16, 2020 Seastan 44906

@doomguard The Map of Earnil can be used in conjunction with Dwarven Tomb to recycle your spirit events endlessly. As long as you don't have both in the discard at the same time you're fine.

Apr 16, 2020 doomguard 2156

i know, but the risk to loose accidentially both would be to high for me, not only by cirdan what u can decide, sometimes the scenario has discardingeffects (by ecounter or shadow).

Well it's not really a key part of the deck, it's just a useful combo for certain long scenarios.

@Seastan I don't understand the Map of Earnil / Dwarven Tomb combo here.

Presumably you use the map to play Dwarven Tomb, returning the map to your hand and putting Dwarven Tomb on the bottom of your deck. Then you use Map of Earnil to play another spirit event, returning it to your hand once you draw Dwarven Tomb again, and then repeat.

But if your deck is empty, and Dwarven Tomb is the only card there, wouldn't the forced ability on Círdan the Shipwright cause you to discard it after you draw?

May 11, 2020 Seastan 44906

@calyx The idea is to immediately draw the Dwarven Tomb with Elven-light to prevent that from happening.

@Seastan oh duh - thanks for the response.

A spirit deck with no unexpected courage, no hasty stroke...? Sure there is still the Light of Valinor, Elven light, Elrond's council and other Northen trackers that we see in every single Spirit Decks, but still!

10/10 for its originality!

Thoughts on swapping out Imladris Caregiver for Song of Healing?

Song is an attachment, but 0 cost. Imladris Caregiver is an ally though so maybe leave it in?

Feb 20, 2021 Gearhead 7

Nevermind, I see it now. You need “A Very Good Tale” to get caregiver into play. Song, as an attachment is an out of sphere card.

I don't have Jubayr yet, can I substitute with Hama?

Apr 23, 2022 Seastan 44906

@freddellmeister Not really, no. Jubayr is a key part of this deck's defensive strategy. If you are playing multiplayer and someone else is running a sentinel hero like Beregond or Erkenbrand, then you could swap Jubayr for some Unexpected Courage.

I was planning to play true solo, starting with first cycle quests.
