This is my take take on the Council of the Wise contract. This is not a power deck, but a lot of fun to play. I decided to use the Silvan archetype for a couple of reasons:

  • there are a lot of different Silvan Cards, and I've been struggling to play all of them in a single deck, but with the contract this become possible
  • with Thranduil we have a way to play off sphere allies
  • the liveblood of every Silvan deck are the bouncing Events and they combine nicely with the contract

One of the heroes i really wanted to play is Galadriel. Mirror of Galadriel is really awesome in a Council of the Wise deck because it can grab you whatever you need.

The deck Plays very reactively. Often you don't pay anything in planning and instead fill your hand with options. Later in the tun you can react with your Event Cards and the ally from Thranduil to whatever Cards you have revealed.

I've been playing this deck some and have had a blast. There are so many interesting decisions to make while playing. Thanks for the list.

I miss Rúmil. Instead of Silverlode Archer maybe?

@hannibal555 That's a great card I probably overlooked! I probably rather cut an event (maybe A Watchful Peace), I sometimes have foudn the ally count a bit low for The Tree People and A Very Good Tale.
