LothÃriel has an amazing ability, but reduces your handsize by shuffling allies back into the deck. This can be mitigated by Horn of the Mark if Eomer is out, but how can you use an ally and keep it too?
The answer is The Elvenking. Put Elf-friend on our queen, send Silvans into play, then after questing pull them back into hand while readying Celeborn for defense. You can get a little bit of healing, or progress, or threat reduction, then take the ally back in your hand to do it again the next turn. I don't know that it's powerful, but it can be fun.

Jun 29, 2023Tough to get a huge amount of power out of the Silvans, but you'll have a TON of cards in your hand! 1 from horn, 1 from elven king, 1 from normal draw. How are you going to afford all of that? (I imagine some of the answer is to just have some cards that are situational in your hand like a Lothiriel swiss army knife.) I'd have to play it a bit to be sure, but it does seem like you'll just have "too many cards". Is there anything that could be added to the deck to take advantage of the extra cards? More 0 cost things? Without green, can't protector of lorien them away... |
Great job using the new Queen!
