This deck is meant to complement a Fastred/Éomer combo that uses Herugrim and Nenya to set up abusively high attack in the staging area. The job of this deck is to keep the other deck alive until everything is setup. Thurindir provides Gather Information so the combo pieces can be fetched, Éowyn provides some questing heft to help clear it. And Dori is there to help Fastred with bigger foes, or take defense of a second enemy on the other side, or to provide defense for an enemy accidently ending up on this side. But despite double-tactics, questing is more of the focus than combat. Most of the attachments will end up on the other deck. This leans Lore, so the Song of Wisdom in the deck can be used to smooth out hero resources as well as enable ABB on Fastred. (This deck was designed before the stealth errata to ABB gave it Restricted.)
