Warden of Arnor 5937
“Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and frequently supported by elf warriors and bears.”
Equipped by the two wizards with a Wild Stallion, Cloak of Lórien and A Burning Brand, and boosted by the power of Narya, Gildor Inglorion and Haldir of Lórien can become 4 6-7 monster combat allies who can cancel enemy shadow effects. Deck has great card draw/search and resource generation/cost reduction to piece together the combo pieces efficiently.

Jan 02, 2020...so basically you're saying you would prefer this deck if it was a completely diffferent deck. That being the case, you should just go find or build that deck rather than complaining that this one isn't it. |
Jan 03, 2020no, the basic idea, "make good allies and boost them with creatures from radagast and narya" is great. i think my thoughts are variations. a variation for narya is cirdan instead of gandalf, what gives the opportunity to use gandalf as ally and follow the concept more effetive. the role of radagast in this deck(pay for kreatures not the same sphere and with his staff do it cheap) could be better fullfilled with elrond+vilya. so, for me, this is a good deck, if elrond is used in a different deck. |
Jan 06, 2020You can build very different decks which do similar things. Changing out either of the wizards would necessarily mean changing assorted other things as well, meaning that, as I said, you are describing a different deck than the one I built. Also, the basic idea I started from wasn't "boost good allies," it was "Use two wizards." Also also, I shouldn't have to say this, but my purpose here is emphatically not to work out the most optimal way of fulfilling a set goal (like boosting powerful allies). I just built a fun deck and made sure it worked before posting it. You suggesting that a different deck might better fulfil that goal is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT TO ME. |
Jan 08, 2020Wow... Discussing ideas and giving opinions seems rather difficult here... |
May 03, 2021Played this deck the other day, fun deck. Had some cards i have not used before (which is always a plus for me) Thanks for the writeup |
radagast without eagles seems underused. pay fo the bears? even with staff seems to expensive. i think a elrond with vilya would helb more than a radagast. o.k. "mining" with ravens is nice, but at the end, it seems a variety to gandalf-elrond but a less effective one. if elrond is used in an other deck on the table it is quite powerfull. perhaps is worth a thougt to replace gandalf with cirdan an profit from the ally gandalf (gandalf with stallion, readied by narya is powerful)
