This deck was built with The Treachery of Rhudaur in mind. The goal in particular was to unlock the achievement of obtaining all three clues in multiplayer.
Round one can achieve a minimum of 9 willpower. Mirror/Nenya are the aims for the starting hand which bumps it to 13. Most starting hands will generate another 2-4 willpower getting to 15-17 right out of the gate.
Weak on combat, the other player needs to provide cover while this team mucks around for clues. http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/1398/bastions-of-men-1.0 is a solid, proven option.
Battle report - The Treachery of Rhudaur: First attempt was on course for failure. Not a coincidence that Mirror pulled Nenya and then promptly had it discarded, despite seven other cards in hand. Second attempt started with Nenya in hand and reliably posted willpower anywhere from 15-20 each round. A win resulted with two clues in hand and narrowly had all three if not for a treachery switching quests on us. Bastions of Men handled virtually all of the combat and needed to do so.
I suspect that this deck would also do quite well against To Hunt an Orc and Celebrimbor's Secret; both of which require loads of willpower right from the start.
PS: Fellowship created!
