This is just a refined version of my previous Eagles of the Eyrie deck in order to be able to beat more consistently adventures such as Raid in the Grey Havens and Battle of Carn Dum.
Changes
3x Deep Knowledge --> 3x The Eagles are Coming
2x Wizard Pipe --> 2x Song of Battle
1x Gwaihir --> 1x Messenger Raven
2x Burning Brand --> 1x The Galadhrim's Greeting and 1x Asfaloth.
Contrary to what I expected, in Battle of Carn Dum I was losing more often due to threating out than due to nasty shadow cards.
Enjoy and happing questing!

Sep 21, 2019I know, I know. Spiritfindel is like playing in easy mode :) But it definitely helps for quests like Raid in the Grey havens :) |
Sep 23, 2019I tried some hero lineups with Gandalf and Radagast, those heroes work well together, but I usually find that not having a Tactics hero is an issue, as, unless you play it from top of your deck, with Gandalf, you can't play an eagle the cost of which reduced to 0 with Radagast's Staff, as you don't use resources to pay it, and you don't have the sphere matching. |
Sep 23, 2019Exactly, that is why I put song of battle. |
Sep 25, 2019It is an impressive quest log. How many attempts did you need for Battle of the Five Armies and Cair Andros nightmare? |
Sep 25, 2019Difficult yo say. The way I play these very hard adventures solo is to mulligan until I have a hand I am happy with. Only then I start playing. With this in mind, it took me 5 attempts for Battle and 3 for Cairn Andros. |
Aug 09, 2024would add Double Back and Magic Ring |
Aug 09, 2024@spherecost 0, radagast gains the icon whenever you play an ally no matter if the cost are 0. but you need tactic for Support of the Eagles (or play with gandalf from top) |
I love Eagle decks and nothing wrong with throwing three of the strongest heroes in the game together to make a solid deck with our winged friends.
