This was the deck I specifically built to handle Massing at Osgiliath for the FFG 2014 Race Against the Shadow event. In hindsight, I probably should have built a faster deck, because, you know, it was a Race or something. That said, this deck still works really well against that quest, and against any other quest which has generally higher engagement-costed enemies for Dunhere to play with. Conversely, if you pair this with a deck designed to keep things in the staging area, it can work quite well.

Beorn is meant to block small enemies, or against emergency additional attacks, anywhere on the board (that first turn with Snaga Scouts at Massing takes a huge amount of pressure off). After that, he's there just to be Beorn and kill things.

Eowyn, unsurprisingly, is there to be Eowyn. She quests, and she quests well.

This is really a Dunhere deck. Get him loaded up with weapons, kill things with him, Foe-Hammer to draw cards. Quick Strike into the staging area during questing to solve three problems at once. This works particularly well against Massing, since most of the enemies are engagement cost of 35 or higher. If you quest well, you can generally keep things in the staging area. By the time your thread gets too high, hopefully you'll have some weapons on him and he can be a passable regular attacker to couple with Beorn.

51st Cards:

Horse Breeder/Rohan War Horse/Firefoot/Ride to Ruin/Other Rohan Synergy - This was in my first draft, but ended up slowing the deck down a little bit, it could go back in pretty easily.
