KaiserWilly has a newer deck inspired by this one: Take a Hike! - a Year of Journeys in Middle Earth

Quick take of the deck I have using during Con of the Rings and the advance release of Roam across Rhovanian.

In several 3/4 player games at the Con I had the chance to play with great people and we've torn down challenge achievements like wipe out 8 Nazgul with Ford of Bruien and finishing Shadow of the Past in a three player game with Just 2hp Glorfindel heaving his battered body across the finish line, after the group (intentionally) failed every hide test.

To sub in for the new pack which isn't up on RingsDB yet, Beravor is Haldan, Desperate Alliance is South Away, and Ranger Spear is Glamdring.

Bad Advice One new thing I found myself doing was using Elronds Council during combat to pump tale of Tunivel.

@KaiserWillyLooks like an awesome deck! One correction though: Tale of TinĂșviel uses the character's "printed" , so it cannot be pumped up with Elrond's Counsel.

Well shucks, I don't think I ever did too Much work with it, but Nightmare Breaking if the Fellowship might have needed another round but we had a solid and stable board State.

Really enjoying the idea of this deck. Plan on building something very similar soon. I'm curious to know how you felt with only 13 Allies? Also any reasoning behind Bofur and Sam Gamgee; I feel like Rhovanion Outriders would fill out that cost slot efficiently. Have you considered trying Bilbo plus Dunedain/Hobbit Pipe? I've been running them a lot and its really helped with consistency due to cycling through the deck, and just being able to see so many cards in a turn. Feel like you have enough threat reduction in events to consider a single Hobbit Pipe + Bilbo.

The Con focused on Saga quests, so Sam was getting the Frodo discount. Playing solo a few Silvan Refugee would be a good substitute. The outriders would be good as well, but similar to the pipe I am a worried about the impact to the cost curve. I especially find myself low on lore resources. I did swap in SĂșlien a few times as well.
