Journey Along the Anduin - Progression Series #2

Description

A pair of decks intended to be played against Journey Along the Anduin, for use in the Lord of the Rings: the Card Game Progression Series. Steward of Gondor is probably best played on Beravor to fund card effects like Forest Snare, and both decks run at a well below 30 starting Threat. Dunhere and Thalin help keep the staging area clear, and cards like A Light in the Dark help manage Hill Troll(s).

Thanks for publishing these. There are a lot of new players on OCTGN that want to learn the game, but don't own many adventure packs. Being able to download a deck comprised of only core set cards is an invaluable teaching aid.

Does anyone have suggestions for replacements if you only have two cores?

I don't have 3 core sets, and they are out of stock for now. I took inspiration from these fellowships and the accompanying progression videos to create two decks using only one core set. The advice on hero selection was invaluable, and after watching the card reviews I had a better idea on which cards to focus and which I could safely toss. While not as strong as these, my one core set decks got the job done and were still fun to play.
