Walt's Ered Mithrin Fellowship #1
Description
This is the fellowship I used to beat the first few quests in the repackaged Ered Mithrin campaign expansion.
Specifically:
- From Dale 2 U Too, Armored Destrier and Unexpected Courage are intended to go on Go Birds!'s Grimbeorn the Old. A second Unexpected Courage can go on Lanwyn to allow her to help with ranged attacks and to give her the boost from Brand son of Bain.
- Because D2UT already has built-in resource generation and cost reduction (Traffic from Dale and King of Dale, respectively), Ranger Provisions is intended to be played when Go Birds! is the first player so that they get the resources. I chose Ranger Provisions over Steward of Gondor because Ranger Provisions is an Item attachment so it can also be paid for with Bard son of Brand's resources.
- Protector of Lórien in Go Birds! justifies having so many 3-ofs of redundant cards in both decks. It can go on Grimbeorn to help defend and make use of excess duplicate cards (Radagast's Staff, Ghân-buri-Ghân, etc.), and on Lanwyn to help quest and make use of excess attachments (Squire's Helm, King of Dale, etc.) while also giving her a continuous +1 from Brand son of Bain if she doesn't have Unexpected Courage yet.
- Go Birds! should usually use Gléowine for itself due to Dale 2 U Too's built-in draw power from Brand. But if the D2UT player draws attachments without allies, allies without attachments, Sneak Attack without Gandalf, etc., prioritize using Gleowine for D2UT instead.
